Terms of Use
Plain terms for a free tool. Please read them, they are short.
Last updated October 4, 2026
1. Using Interformat
These terms apply to the website and app at interformat.intercepth.dev (“Interformat”), provided by Intercepth. By using Interformat you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
2. The service
Interformat is a free set of tools for working with images and other media. The tools run in your browser and process files on your own device. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we may stop offering the service.
3. Your files
You keep every right you have in your files. Because processing happens on your device, we never receive them. You are responsible for having the right to use the files you work with, and for how you use the results.
4. Acceptable use
Please don’t use Interformat to:
- break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights;
- try to disrupt, overload or attack the website or its hosting;
- pass off the hosted service as your own, or suggest that we endorse you.
5. Source code
The source code of Interformat is published under the MIT License. That license governs the code. These terms govern the hosted website. The name “Interformat” and its logo identify this service and are not licensed for use by other services.
6. Donations
Donations through Ko-fi are voluntary. They don’t buy features, priority, or any service, and Interformat stays free either way. Payments are handled by Ko-fi under its own terms. Donations are not refundable, except where the law or Ko-fi’s policies require it.
7. No warranty
Interformat is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Results can vary between browsers, devices and files.
Keep your originals. Interformat never changes the files on your device unless you explicitly save over them, but you should keep backups of anything important. If you remove metadata or redact images for privacy or legal reasons, check the result before you share it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Intercepth is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of Interformat. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us to use the service, which is nothing. Some places don’t allow certain limits, so some of this may not apply to you.
9. Other services
Interformat links to and can embed services run by others, such as Ko-fi. We are not responsible for those services. Their own terms apply when you use them.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Interformat after a change means you accept the updated terms.
