Resize one image or hundreds. Fit inside a box, fill and crop to an exact size, scale by percentage or cap the longest side.
Interformat resizes in linear light (gamma-correct), with premultiplied alpha, using Lanczos, Magic Kernel Sharp and other high-quality filters. Most online resizers skip this, which darkens bright edges and leaves halos around transparent areas.
For pixel art there is nearest-neighbour and hqx scaling, which keep hard edges instead of blurring them.
Which resampling method should I use?
Lanczos is a sharp, safe default. Magic Kernel Sharp gives the crispest results when shrinking photos a lot. Use Nearest neighbour or hqx for pixel art.
Can I make a small image bigger without losing quality?
Not with classic resizing: enlarging can’t invent detail. Local AI upscaling, which runs on your device, is available in Labs.
