About this tool
Paste text, or open logs, JSON and other text files, and find what you might not want to share: email addresses, phone numbers, IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, web addresses, payment card and IBAN numbers, API keys, tokens and passwords, plus any names or words you add and patterns of your own.
Review every find in context before anything changes. Each one can be kept or redacted, uncertain ones such as a bare run of digits wait for your decision, and you can select text by hand to redact it. Card numbers must pass the Luhn check and IBANs their checksum, but a plausible number is still only a candidate.
Choose numbered placeholders like [EMAIL-1], which keep the same value recognisable throughout, plain labels, masks, blocks or removal. JSON stays valid: only text inside strings changes, and fields such as password are always redacted. The export holds only the redacted text; the key from placeholders back to originals is a separate download, and nothing is saved.
Will it find every piece of personal data?
No tool can promise that. It finds common patterns reliably, but names, addresses and anything unusual need your own words or patterns, and a careful read of the result before you share it.
Does anything I paste get stored?
No. The text, your choices and the replacement key stay in this page only, and “Discard everything” clears them at once.
