About this tool
Percent-encode text for a query value or path segment, a whole URL, HTML form data or strict RFC 3986, and decode it again. Each style is explained, so you know which characters it leaves alone.
Decoding never fails silently: a % that isn’t followed by two hex digits, or bytes that aren’t valid UTF-8, are pointed out by line and column and kept as written. Text that was encoded twice is decoded once, with a Decode again button, so nothing is decoded further than you intend.
