About this tool
Open any file and read it byte by byte, with offsets, hex values and the matching text side by side. Files of any size open at once, because only the part on screen is read.
Search for text or for byte patterns such as 89 50 4E 47, step through matches, and jump to any offset in decimal or hex. Select a range with Shift and copy it as hex, text or Base64.
The data inspector shows what the bytes at the cursor mean as signed and unsigned integers, floating-point numbers, a timestamp or a UTF-8 character, in both byte orders. The viewer never changes the file.
