About this tool

Print more on less paper. Place two, four, six, nine or sixteen pages on each sheet, choose the sheet size, direction, margins and gaps, and add a thin border round each page. The result is a new PDF with fewer, fuller pages that is ready to print.

Switch to Booklet and the pages are put in printing order for a folded booklet: two pages to a side on landscape sheets, padded with blanks to a multiple of four. Print double-sided, flip on the short edge, fold the stack in half and you have a bound booklet in the right order. Right-to-left binding is supported.

Pages are placed as drawings, so text stays sharp, but links, form fields and bookmarks are not carried over. Everything happens in your browser and the file is not uploaded.

How do I print multiple pages per sheet from a PDF?

Open the PDF here, choose how many pages per sheet and the paper size, and save. Print the new PDF at normal size, and each sheet already holds several pages.

How do I make a printable booklet from a PDF?

Choose Booklet, pick the paper, save the result, and print it double-sided flipping on the short edge. Fold the printed stack in half and the pages run in order.

Why were blank pages added to my booklet?

A folded booklet needs a multiple of four pages. Blank pages are added at the end so the last sheet is complete.

Can I change the order the pages are laid out in?

Yes. Choose “Across, then down” to read like text, or “Down, then across” to fill each column first.
