About this tool
Turn the pages of a PDF a quarter turn left or right, or upside down. Rotate every page, only the odd or even ones (handy when a scanner fed alternate sheets sideways), or pick pages from the thumbnails. The previews turn as you choose so you can check before saving.
The rotation is written into the file, so it is the same in every viewer and when printed, not just in this window. Rotating adds to any turn the page already has, and the text, images and fonts are not re-drawn or re-compressed.
The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
How do I rotate a PDF permanently?
Choose the turn and the pages, then save. The new file stores the rotation in each page, so it opens the right way up in any PDF viewer.
Can I rotate only one page?
Yes. Choose “Pick”, tick that page’s thumbnail (or type its number) and save.
Does rotating lower the quality?
No. Only the page’s rotation setting changes. Nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed.
