About this tool
Cut one PDF into several. Split it every few pages, into ranges you type (1-3; 4-6; 7-), into parts that each stay under a size limit such as an email attachment cap, or at the top-level bookmarks so every chapter becomes its own file.
The parts are named after the pages they hold, or after the bookmark, and download together as one ZIP. Your original is not changed. Everything happens in your browser: the file is not uploaded.
Links to other pages in the same file and the bookmark panel are not copied into the parts, since the pages they point to may be in a different file. Links to websites are kept.
How do I split a PDF into single pages?
Choose “Every N pages” and set it to 1. You get one file per page, numbered by page, in a ZIP.
How do I split a PDF to stay under an email size limit?
Choose “Maximum file size” and enter the limit, for example 10 MB. Each part is measured as it will be saved, so none goes over, unless a single page is bigger than the limit by itself.
Can I split by chapter?
If the PDF has bookmarks that point at pages, choose “Bookmarks”. Every top-level bookmark starts a new file named after it. PDFs without bookmarks can be split by ranges instead.
Is the PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. It is read and split inside your browser, so contracts, statements and other private documents stay on your device.
