About this tool
Open an SVG to see what it is made of: its size and viewBox, every element in a tree you can hover to find in the picture, the colours and fonts it uses, and how much of the file is shapes, styles, embedded images or editor metadata.
A check points out what tends to break SVGs in production: scripts and remote references (removed before it is shown), duplicate ids, a missing viewBox, text that depends on installed fonts, linked images that won’t travel with the file, and a missing title for screen readers.
It also tells you how much smaller the file could be, measured by actually optimising and verifying it.
