About this tool

Crop an SVG by changing its viewBox, the window that decides which part of the drawing is shown. Drag the handles or type exact values in the drawing’s own units, or let Interformat measure the drawing and fit the viewBox to it, with as much room around it as you like.

Drawing that sits outside the current viewBox is shown in the editor too, so you can bring clipped parts back into view. Choose whether the file’s width and height follow the crop, stay as they were, or are removed.

Cropping hides; it doesn’t delete. Shapes outside the new viewBox stay in the file, which matters if it contains something you don’t want to share. The path extractor keeps only the shapes you choose.
