Favicon Generator
Every favicon and touch icon a site needs, with the HTML and manifest, from one logo.
Drop your logo
An SVG gives the sharpest results. Otherwise use a square PNG of 512 px or more.
About this tool
Drop a logo and get the small set of files browsers actually use today: favicon.ico, an SVG favicon, the Apple touch icon, the icons for installed web apps and a ready-to-paste HTML snippet with a web manifest.
If your logo is an SVG, the generated favicon.svg can adapt to dark browser tabs, so a black logo doesn’t disappear. Previews show it in light and dark tab strips and on iPhone and Android home screens.
iOS and Android don’t show transparency on the home screen, so those icons get a background colour and padding you control.
Why so few files?
Older generators output dozens of sizes nobody requests any more. Modern browsers use favicon.ico, an SVG icon, the 180 px Apple touch icon and the 192 and 512 px manifest icons.
What is a maskable icon?
Android crops app icons into circles, squircles or rounded squares. A maskable icon keeps the logo inside a safe zone so nothing important is cut off.
