About this tool
Make an icon from initials, a word or an emoji, on a square, rounded, squircle or round background with a flat colour or a gradient. Text is centred on its actual shape rather than its line height, so letters and emoji sit exactly in the middle.
Previews show the icon at 16 to 64 px on light and dark backgrounds and in a browser tab, and a check warns you when it would be hard to see. When it looks right, send it straight to the favicon, app icon, ICO or extension icon generator.
Use the bundled Inter font, your system’s fonts, or a font file of your own. Fonts you load stay on your device.
Why does my emoji look different on another computer?
Emoji are drawn by each device’s emoji font. The PNG you download keeps the look you see, so use that rather than the text itself.
Can I use my brand font?
Yes. Choose “Use a font file” and pick a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 file. Check that its licence lets you use it in a logo.
